All of my original music (solo efforts as well as collaborations) is now available for streaming from all the major services, such as Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music, Pandora, iHeartRadio, etc.
One must provide an artist’s name when submitting music to these services. You will find “Mischievous Smile” attributed to The CPR Trio, “So Sorry Santa” to Johnny Astonish and the Remarkables, and “Christmas Love Song” (and the forthcoming “Give Me Back My Dreams”) to Rich Garmon.
Back in the 1980s, while I was a student at University of Connecticut, I came up with the band name ‘Johnny Astonish and the Remarkables’. It’s been in my back pocket all these years, and I decided to use it for my more whimsical/novelty recordings, “So Sorry Santa” being the first. I’ll reserve “Rich Garmon” for my more serious solo releases. Collaborations will be released under various artist/band names, depending on the contributors.
Bottom line, you can now instruct Alexa or Siri to “play ‘So Sorry Santa’ by Johnny Astonish and the Remarkables”, which I recommend doing with great regularity, throughout the year, but especially during the Christmas season, and immediately upon entering someone else’s house.
Each song is submitted to these services with lyrics and original cover art, courtesy of yours truly. I will start including lyrics and artwork along with each original tune write-up I post to this site. To get caught up, here are the cover art images I created for the three original tunes previously posted:
